fender cover - Only 100% Polyester Fabric
Our fender covers are made from 100% polyester knitted yarn we do not have any other yarn blended with the polyester the yarn is the same as used in braded rope like your black mooring lines or your sheet ropes.
Other fender cover makers use Acrylic fabric blended with nylon to give greater stretch so one size will fit many size fenders, a good example is the photo on the Bottom right this cover is from Europe made from Acrylic fabric they also use a rubber band in the top of the cover ( just like the postman uses when delivering your mail ) not suited for the marine environment, We use polyester draw cord at either end of our covers enabling the covers to be reversed if needed and only 100% polyester yarn to knit our fabric.

History
Our background comes from the Surfing industry the owners manufactured and design surfing equipment inc: leg ropes, skate boards, board racks, accessories and surf clothing lines, they design and produced the first commercial surfboard cove in Australia in 1973, being keen seaman and seeing the need for a good quality fender cover that stands up to the marine environment and having many years experience in manufacturing surf products started researching and found the best fabrics to use for making fender covers is 100% polyester yarn, after one year of research and testing the fabric in the harsh northern Australian environment started production.
